Belated Post-Florida Post

I haven't been traveling as much lately, which honestly, is sort of nice. But last weekend I headed down to the city beautiful, Orlando, FL. Now usually the reaction to me traveling to Orlando is "why would you do that," but this time as Hurricane Bill loomed off the coast creating "the sickest waves ever bro," so at least some people thought it was a good idea to go to Florida. Me? I went no where near the coast. Instead I was there for Surf Expo, which includes no actual surfing. As you can imagine, a trade show in this economic climate was a somewhat depressing place. Somehow I got on Nike 6.0's media list. Well actually I know exactly how. When they were just starting out, someone emailed YoBeat and asked for our address. I have been getting random packages ever since. It's a good list to be on, as special overnight deliveries have included a rad screen printed poster, a tube of orange shoe laces surrounding an actual pair of shoes, and other rad, random stuff. It's usually artsy enough that you keep it around, and you frequently see the pieces on display at the offices of magazines and the like. Puppies!

I've spent the last few days of my life at Nike Migration. Some of it involved amazing free food. Most of it was time I can not get back. If you care about Migration, check back later and maybe I'll write something, or better yet, read my intern's blog. It's way funnier than what I would come up with anyway. INTERN BLOG HERE For now though, I will just touch on my favorite part of migration which was puppies! I have no idea who this guy is, but he has tats and is drinking Busch. He must be extreme!
