It's no secret that snowboarding has hit the mainstream (6-plus years ago)! But while the snowboard industry is busy figuring out how to use the hype to sell more snowboards, the rest of the world is deftly using snowboarding to sell just about anything. For example: Telephone Service Technically, AT&T produced this commercial to show their (monetary) support for the Olympic games and their rider Gretchen Bleiler, but let's be honest, they were banking on it "going viral." When technology goes horribly wrong…

Is it just me or do television commercials seem especially bad/disturbing lately? On top of the fact that every ad agency clearly has their Pandora station set to "Feist Radio" when choosing songs, the digital technology has gone too far. I mean, some of the commercials in regular rotation are causing me nightmares, so I can't even imagine what they are doing to impressionable young children. Here are the three ad campaigns I wish would just go away. Samsung and AT&T I know! Let's play off the over use of acronyms in texting because our phone makes it easy to type things out.
