On top of the fact that every ad agency clearly has their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pandora.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pandora<\/a> station set to &#8220;Feist Radio&#8221; when choosing songs, the digital technology has gone too far. I mean, some of the commercials in regular rotation are causing me nightmares, so I can&#8217;t even imagine what they are doing to impressionable young children. Here are the three ad campaigns I wish would just go away.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Samsung and AT&amp;T<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/brookegeery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/picture-4.png\" title=\"picture-4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/brookegeery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/picture-4.png\" alt=\"picture-4.png\" height=\"277\" width=\"485\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I know! Let&#8217;s play off the over use of acronyms in texting because our phone makes it easy to type things out. But just showing people texting would be way boring, so let&#8217;s add creepy faces to the ends of thumbs to really convey emotion! Sold!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Xbox 360 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/brookegeery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/picture-1.png\" title=\"picture-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/brookegeery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/picture-1.png\" alt=\"picture-1.png\" height=\"278\" width=\"486\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>All these commercials start with people making strange faces that might be moving, but I can&#8217;t really tell if they are or not. As the camera rotates it appears they are &#8220;living their dream&#8221; in the back of their open skull. Either my 47&#8243; screen TV isn&#8217;t big enough or I am just too distracted by the fact the person has a gaping hole in the back of their head, but I have a hard time comprehending what that dream actually is. <strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Treximet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/brookegeery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/picture-2.png\" title=\"picture-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/brookegeery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/picture-2.png\" alt=\"picture-2.png\" height=\"364\" width=\"488\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So as if this kid isn&#8217;t bummed enough that his mom insists on walking him to the bus EVERYDAY, but she is also a total freak with no head.
