Circa 1997 Once upon a time I was snowboarding at Killington during a particularly miserable icy, rainy week. It happened that some dudes from Washington were in town, and after they watched me cut across a trail to ollie a twig, they suggested that perhaps I should make a trip out to Mt. Baker for some real snowboarding. After that initial visit I was hooked, went to college in Bellingham, snowboarded at Mt. Baker and skated the plethora of concrete parks around.
