Big in Europe
After Future went under, I sold off most of what I’d written to Euro mags, which any extreme journalist will tell you is the best thing to do with crap no one in the US will use. Of course, some of the stories were actually pretty good, and I am glad they found a home, even if some of the text is in German and I will probably never see them anyway.
I guess the issue of On Board that I sold some teenager profiles too made it stateside, and although I haven’t seen it, Adryan was nice enough to scan me a jpeg of the one profile I wrote and send it.
I also just got an email from Spare, the German mag that bought my Nikita Chickita story, saying it was done and should be arriving soon. I was hoping since the German’s are so savvy it might just be online, but they only put up the table of contents. Well, at least I know they are not lying to me.
Right now I am in So Cal for a meeting at Alliance, but since everyone went surfing pretty much as soon as I got here, I figured I could probably sneak in a little update for this site. It’s weird here. Might as well be July. I am glad I live in Portland.

Good thinking. The dollar sucks. Stack those euro pennies!
