Big in Europe

After Future went under, I sold off most of what I'd written to Euro mags, which any extreme journalist will tell you is the best thing to do with crap no one in the US will use. Of course, some of the stories were actually pretty good, and I am glad they found a home, even if some of the text is in German and I will probably never see them anyway. Losing it

The first few days back from a trip are always weird. Maybe it's the jet lag (but seriously, it was only three hours of time difference) or the fact that I almost have to get re-accustomed to sleeping in the insane comfort that is my own bed. Maybe I just get out of the habit of getting up, going into the office, and working. Whatever it is, it taking longer than usual this time. When I am out of town for awhile I forget about what I have to do. I always have several projects going at once, and since I am usually traveling for one at a time that…

This morning I got an email from Bill McCaffray, publisher of Alliance Multimedia, a.k.a. my boss. It just said "blog about the new wakeskate mag" in the subject and thanks in the body. While he was probably referring to a blog on Alliancewake.com and not here, I am doing both. Hopefully this one will be more interesting than the other though. The new issue of Alliance Wakeskate went live last night. Actually, we were trying to launch a completely new site at the end of February, but as things often seem to go, it didn't happen.
