You get more speed when the sun goes away I’ve been bemoaning the end of the season for a few weeks now, mostly because filling a snowboard site with new and interesting posts every day is a lot harder when you’re not actually going snowboarding. Every since I moved to Portland, I've had a basic understanding of the snowboard scene. You ride Meadows in the winter and Timerberline in the summer. As it turns out, I was grossly misinformed, as if you want to ride sweet jib lines, Tline is the spot. Thankfully, my new friend Jeff cleared it up for me. We're not even talking the ski section, but further out, where you find brands that you would never imagine even exist. But sometimes, instead of being annoyed at them, why not help instill park skills and etiquette by showing them a thing or two? The other night at Mt. Hood Meadows, Nick Lipton was feeling charitable and did just that.
