Comments of the Week!

I have had a great week. I am finally starting to see some returns for all my hard work on my projects and it is dumping in the mountains! To make things even better, my internet hate following is gaining power and steam making for almost endless entertainment. Here are a few comments that I especially enjoyed this week!

Turd Ferguson/naughty pool boy posts:

Between this bullshit and Pat’s videos it’s becoming more and more apparent that Brooke will post nearly anything on this website.

Now I know the true identities of both of these commenters because they really didn’t make any efforts to hide them, but I especially enjoyed that this was the very first commented posted on the article, and then “someone” felt the need to reiterate it down the line. I apologize that the somewhat crude Euro humor didn’t amuse the American masses, and I agree, the story could have been developed more. Also, since it was originally written for a Euro mag, it definitely missed some of the necessary US hotspots, but since YoBeat is a website and available all over the world, it’s ok if some things are aimed towards foreigners right? But to answer your question, I will not post ANYTHING on YoBeat. In fact, I turned this video down.

handsome posts:

dear brooke,
has anyone ever told you that youre not very good at writing?

dear handsome,

You know it’s crazy, people have told me that before! Usually in the form of anonymous internet comments. And I value each and everyone of their opinions. Thank you. Though next time I recommend posting your comment on a recent article, instead of one that is nearly two weeks old.

Seriously? Like is this serious? Alliance get on your shit. Same with you Brooke Geery. I think wakeskatings SUPERIOR website needs a new editor.

This was by far my favorite comment of the week. It was posted on an article I didn’t write, and for all the internets know, I had nothing to do with. But for the sake of this post, this article was submitted to me, I read it and enjoyed it for what it was. A fun, funny and random story geared to girls who enjoy wakeboarding and wakeskating that was obviously NOT SERIOUS. But I think being hated on, by name, on a post that doesn’t have your name anywhere near it, well, that means you matter! Yay. People are paying attention!

So kids, hopefully this inspires some of you on your anonymous commenting careers, or at least entertains you as much as it did for me. But remember, posting hate comments from work can get you fired.

This is truly shocking. If you don’t like someone’s writing, DON’T READ IT. Simple as that.
    Some people are so hateful.
