The stuff you missed if you’ve just found us now…

Our photo archive
Photo standards have gotten better.

Our old blog
It dates back to 2001, which I believe was before it was called “blogging.” We have discontinued it now that everyone has a blog.

Our old features
If it’s a topic of conversation, there is a Yobeat link about it. Find them all here.

Our old staff page
In case you care what we were doing a few years ago.

Sometimes people say funny things. At least they used to. Apparently not anymore.

Back Issues
Once upon a time we put out issues. Here are all 14 of them.

  • This is a hell of an OMG. I feel like Peter Pan, able to relish the yobeat of yesteryear…

  • Luke Mathison says:

remember the time you got mad because myself and a few friends who have know each other for decades went snowboarding together all the time. And you felt left out because you just moved to town and weren’t in our close nit circle of friends yet. there was never a vibe… just a group of kids who loved to snowboard with each other. to bad you and toni didn’t get it. we never cared what you were doing on the hill. we just did our thing… you should have done yours and not worried so much about what we were doing and that way you wouldn’t have felt left out.
    yours truely,
    Luke Mathison
YoBeat is sweet! Brooke you are sweet!

  • ‘Knew for decades?’ You sound barely 12, OK, maybe 15. If your over 20, you need to go back to school. There’s serious grammar errors in a simple post here. But I do have to agree, YoBeat and Brooke are both sweet. I like the vintage snowoard camp stories……

The “sticker placement” story should be bronzed like baby shoes. It’s the most clearly correct article I’ve ever read, and have striking implications for today’s hipster culture.
